also on a side note, he says he wants the new armageddon to be like the dragoon... the dragoon is argueably the worst of all the new destroyers, I haven't seen one flown since they first came out, while the other see lots of use.
If people want a strong drone boat with the option for neuts, people default to the dominix... why should the amarr have a ship does also does the same thing? |

These are still bad, you've reduced the amarr to being garbage already, the armageddon needs to be a real ship, not this awful abomination of a baahlgorn.
You're *tweak* doesn't solve the cap issues that the amarr have unless there is also a weapon system tweak in store. |

TO further iterate, the Abaddon is now the brawler of choice for your changes, spoiler alert, the abaddon isn't capable of running it's guns/prop mod/armor tank. so in order to keep those things running, you have to bring carriers or a fleet of logi not to rep them necessarily, but to keep them shooting, and no one wants to engage a fleet of abaddons with an overly large gang of logi behind it.
the apox is NOT a brawling ship, it doesn't do the damage nor does it have the tank to be able to brawl, it has always been a sniping ship of sort with it's range bonus and sorch, so it's a moot point here.
The armageddon WAS the amarr's ship that was capable of fighting under it's own pretense, it didn't support the tank of the abaddon, but it also didn't suffer from the cap issues. By removing this ships roll you have reduced amarr gangs to bring more logi than is necissary to fights which will makes pilots grumpy and unhappy. (that and the new geddon design is ****) |

Well now that just isn't true, you've turned the armageddon into the hyperion (it's never going to see the light of day in any pvp situation that involves more than 5 people, because solo and small gang pvp is on the decline kil2 face it (you could fix this, but that would require removing OGB entirely, which won't ever happen so good fight shepherd).)
You also still have yet to address to serious cap issues for amarr ships, or how difficult it is to fit beams onto anything without gimping the fit entirely.

Right now with how little grid there is on the geddon, every other battleship makes a better neut ship. Know why? because neut the range bonus is ****, has been **** and will always be ****, it needs to be a neuting strength bonus to actually set it apart from any other neuting battleship |

The ships that field them have a range of power and application and should each be addresses relative to the new changes individually, rather than making oversimplified "amarr is getting weaker" conclusions. There is virtually no power based conclusions you can make about the relationship between 8 low mega and amarr as an overall race design. You need to be much more specific on how that is a problem. Closing the gap between new players and old players in some areas is definitely positive. If you notice that EVE gets to a point where you would rather have less ISK and SP let me know, we'll fix it asap. I'm curious about your augoror vs guardian comparison - I'm guessing your aurgoror has some other issues that you are leaving out.

We have experienced what it is like to have ONLY two damage types (Gallente have always had ample drone space), the worst ones some say, with cross-dressing being the only way to get out from under that.
